Kensington Market to Distillery District

Service Description

Welcome to the Full Day Toronto Walking Food and City Tour! Combined this tour will last approximately 7 hours and cover 9 km of walking! Starting in Kensington Market we start at the best gift giving store in Canada, it has everything you want, and nothing you need. From here we cruise through the iconic market with a stop at a Jamaican Italian restaurant for a crazy cool combination of food before we stroll the streets talking about this heritage neighbourhood. As we exit we cross the city past container town, grab a refreshing bubble tea and make our way towards Trinity Bellwoods. As we enter Trinity Bellwood Park from the north, we'll walk and talk through the park and enjoy a Pupusa from El Salvador and get our first view of the iconic CN Tower and pass the play area "Dog Bowl" before we arrive on famous Queen Street. Queen Street provides an opportunity to eat specially crafted award winning eclair's, and of course, the Canadian specialty poutine. As we cruise through the often photographed Graffiti Alley, we stop for the "greatest cookie in the world" as we enter the Entertainment District. Next we stop by some of Toronto's most famous sites including the Toronto Sign, Canadian Walk Of Fame, Union Station and more as we arrive at St. Lawrence Market. Here we indulge in the local favourite Peameal Bacon Sandwich and a Montreal Bagel as each person has time to explore the markets and learn the history of this legendary landmark. Exiting the market we head towards the brick lined, pedestrian only streets of the Distillery district. As we enter, we'll discuss the heritage of this long-time abandoned part of the city. The transformation to one of the great areas of the city has been remarkable! After a taste of the legendary Canadian desert butter tart, we'll make our final stop at Mill Street Brewery for a few samples of beer and a final farewell. (Non Alcoholic options available). Other things to note Lots of Walking! If you have mobility issues or don't enjoy a long walking day, please contact us first. We can accommodate vegetarians but due to the small food vendors, other food restrictions are difficult. Please inquire before booking. This tour does not finish where it starts
